2024 Pike Valley Prom will be this Saturday, April 13th. There will be a promenade at 6:00 pm at the Norway gym. Prom meal and dance will follow. Parents and community members are asked not to park in the Norway school yard.
The Kansas Education Enrichment Program (KEEP) provides qualifying parents and guardians with a $1,000 award per eligible student to pay for a variety of educational goods and services that promote learning!
Kansas families are invited to apply for these funds at www.keep.ks.gov There is no cost to apply or to participate in the program, and multiple students per household can enroll.
Students may use KEEP funds for things like:
Camps for subjects related to academic/school curriculum
Language classes
Instrument and vocal lessons, including instrument purchase or rental
Tutoring services
Curriculum materials, school supplies, and various technology

The Cloud County Track and Field team is hosting a youth camp each Monday night in April (1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd). The camp will introduce K-6th grade children to a variety of events in Track and Field. Cloud Track and Field Athletes will coach the kids through a warm up routine each night before breaking into specific events.
Our goal is to allow each participant a chance to find an event area that they enjoy and teach them techniques to help them excel!
Ages: Kindergarten to 6th Grade.

When: Monday Night’s in APRIL (1st, 8th, 15th, & 22nd.) .
TIME: Starting at 6:00pm ending at 7:00pm
Cost: $30.00 per child (for all 4 nights)

March 5th and March 7th will be our Spring Conferences from 4 pm-8 pm. 7th-12th grade conferences will be student led. Students have set up times for their student led conferences There will be time in between conferences to visit with other teachers as needed.

This coming Monday, March 4th at 6 pm at the High School will be the 9th-12th Winter Athletic Banquet for high school basketball and cheer. The evening will begin with potluck and conclude with awards recognition. Cheerleaders and girls basketball players will be in charge of the main dish. Boys basketball players will be in charge of the side dish and dessert.

Pike Valley vs. Osborne tomorrow night in Courtland. Change of game schedule - NO JV BOYS GAME WILL BE PLAYED, Varsity games will begin at 6 p.m. with senior parent recognition prior to the first tip. Senior Parents will need to be there at 5:40 pm.
This Thursday, February 1st, school will not be in session for students. Pike Valley will be hosting the Regional KAYS Conference at Scandia and there will be Teacher Inservice at Courtland on Thursday. The inservice will replace the inservice originally scheduled for February 19th. All students including preschool will be back in session this Friday. On February 19th school will now be in session for students since we are switching inservice days.
8th graders and parents, Please make sure you are ready for Kansas Day tomorrow! It kicks off at 12:30 in Courtland at the elementary school. All are welcome to come support the students.
Pike Valley HS basketball game vs. Thunder Ridge has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 10, at 3 p.m. at Kensington. It will be varsity only.
The Pike Valley Jr High JV Scholars Bowl team grabbed 1st place at Rock Hills Monday. Excellent work!
