Q—Will there be a student fee for the use of the laptops?
A—There will be a $50 fee for the students to have the laptops 24:7 for the 2009-2010 school year.
Q—What if my child has their own laptop can they bring that to school?
A—No, but they can use their laptop at home and then pick up their “school issued” laptop when they arrive at school.
Q—If my student only uses the “school issued” laptop during school hours and does not take it home, are we assessed the $50 fee?
A—No, you are not assessed the fee.
Q—Will there be Internet Filtering when the computer comes home?
A—Yes, the filtering is computer based, meaning wherever the computer is the filter will function.
